THE END OF PLEASURES

There are two kinds of pleasures you can enjoy in this world, One – You can enjoy all the fleshly pleasures, which includes: Engaging yourself with Sex, food, drinks, certain drugs, alcohol, certain substances, certain songs, partying, recreational activities, comedy, sports, games, and everything that makes you feel so high or on top of the world.

Two – You can enjoy spiritual pleasures, and this includes all the happiness and joy and excitements and drive and ecstasy you feel while you are in God’s presence, many believers have found great pleasures in exercises and experiences like: Bible studying and meditation, praying in the Spirit, talking to and hearing from God, fastings, intercessions, divine revelations, divine encounters, manifestations of spiritual gifts, ministering under the anointing, evangelism, performing and receiving miracles, Deep worship and praises to God, and all forms of powerful spiritual experiences in God.

Now, I saw that spiritual pleasures has no end because the Joy and Love that we feel in our hearts continues forever even after we leave this world but fleshly and worldly pleasures shall definitely come to an end. Let me show you the end of fleshly pleasures, you see, the end of all fleshly pleasures is PAIN. Fleshly pleasures were created in such a way that you should not seek the end of it because what you will find at the end is pain or destruction! No matter how sweet Sex is, if you make yourself a slave to it, you can never find satisfaction, what you will find is pain and addiction and weaknesses, No matter how sweet a food is, you cannot continue to have the sweetness in your mouth, you would have to stop eating the food at some point or else you should get ready to be carried to the hospital…You can’t find something good at the end of the fleshly pleasures in this world – Shouldn’t this teach you wisdom?!

Today, many Christians have become slaves to fleshly pleasures and we don’t want to break free from these weights of sin, some of us have become addicted to entertainments, movies and the internet, and we have lost pleasure in doing things that will connect us to God’s presence and divine will…We have lost contact with the unending pleasures in Christ Jesus!

I PERSONALLY HAVE TASTED THE PLEASURES OF SIN AND WORLDLINESS BUT WHEN I BEGAN TO TASTE OF THE SWEETNESS OF JESUS, I DISCOVERED THAT NO OTHER PLEASURE CAN COMPARE WITH WHAT I FOUND IN THE DEPTHS OF JESUS!!

THE PLEASURES OF THE FLESH AND THIS WORLD IS WORTH LOSING FOR THE ETERNAL GLORIOUS PLEASURES IN JESUS CHRIST!!! Be wise. Amen.
