RECEIVING THE ANOINTING

People have been asking me “how can I receive the anointing?”, but the truth is, it’s not hard to receive the anointing, this is because the Source of the anointing is already inside every believer – If Jesus dwells inside you, then you are already anointed because Jesus Himself is the embodiment of Anointing, So, you just need FAITH to draw up the anointing from inside you or draw down the anointing upon you from heaven.

Many of us don’t know how powerful we are, we limit what God can do through us through unbelief, the fact that you can’t FEEL the anointing doesn’t mean you are not anointed (and that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t feel the anointing too). Now, the first step in receiving the anointing is: BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE ALREADY ANOINTED. Every born again Christian is anointed because Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit dwells inside of you, your spirit is already possessed by the Seed of God and His Kingdom.

2) DISCOVER YOUR CALLING. If God is going to open up the streams of Anointing from inside you or pour out the anointing upon you from Above, God will be doing that for a purpose, God doesn’t waste His resources. So, if you are currently thinking of receiving an anointing from God to do great exploits on earth, the first question you should ask yourself is, What has God called me to do for Him at this time? — God will anoint you according to the Kingdom assignments He gave you to fulfill and accomplish.

3) UNDERSTAND THE SCOPE OF YOUR CALLING. The anointing of God is not like a sea, it is like a river. The movement of the sea shows that the sea is confused, restless and without direction but the River is peaceful, focused and with a specific direction or channel – If there’s no specified channel for the anointing to follow, the anointing will not flow at all (or not flow as it should). THE LORD WAS SPEAKING TO ME RECENTLY SAYING “LET YOUR MINISTRY BE DEFINED”, AND I UNDERSTOOD THAT HE WANTED ME TO HAVE A SPECIFIC TARGET AND MISSION, AND NOT JUST BEATING ABOUT THE BUSH – MINISTRY IS NOT ABOUT TRIAL AND ERROR, IT’S NOT ABOUT TRYING SO MANY THINGS TO SEE WHICH ONE WILL WORK!!

If God must anoint you, then Why should He?…Have you discovered your calling??!!! Amen.
