FAITH IS NOT ONLY IN KNOWING WHO GOD IS, IT IS ALSO IN KNOWING WHO YOU ARE IN GOD

If you study some of the miracles Jesus did in the Scriptures very well, especially His miracles of deliverance, you will discover that the demons usually testify of who he is, in a place, a demon said “we know who you are, you are the only one of God”—This shows that Jesus walked in the fullness of His divine identity all the days He physically lived on earth. He walked in the consciousness, assurance and understanding of who He is in God and with God, the fact that many people didn’t believe in Jesus and received him at that time doesn’t make Jesus not to believe in himself. I saw that many believers today are suffering under demonic captivities and limitations not because they don’t believe in the greatness of God but because they don’t believe in who they are in God and in the fullness of their inheritance in God.

When Jesus was faced with the death situation of Lazarus, he didn’t say “Father, I thank you because I know you can bring Lazarus up from the grave”, He said “Father, I thank you because you always hear me…”, He knew that God and the whole of heaven were standing with him right there, So, He faced that situation with the understanding of who He is in God and He prevailed. There are some rights and privileges that has already been given to you because you are a son of God, it’s the same as the rights a citizen of a nation has to the commonwealth of that nation, and we are not just citizens of heaven, we are also joint-heirs with Christ to the very throne of God, therefore, we own a lot of things we have not even claimed yet (because we are too ignorant). Why should the son of a king live like the slaves of the kingdom?! The reason why many of us are not possessing and operating in the realities of the Kingdom of God is because our lifestyles are directly against the standards of God’s Kingdom, we are not living the life of Christ, we are busy living another life and this is why you try exercising your authority as a Christian and nothing seem to be happening!

Another thing I had learnt in my walk with God is that God Himself is going to take you through a process of “knowing yourself”, this is because you had existed in God’s heart some thousands of years ago before your mom conceived you, God had ordained a destiny for you even before your forefathers existed, there’s a picture of YOU in God’s heart that is currently different from the YOU that people see here on earth—Therefore, God will take you through a process of consecration, conformation and transformation so that you can begin to look exactly like the person you are in His heart. There are a lot of things the Spirit of God usually tell me of myself, He would say “you are this, you are that…” and on hearing this I would just laugh because many of these things are too higher than what I think I am currently. God knows how important you knowing who you are in Him is, and a lot of us don’t actually know who we are yet because we are so far from God and from studying His Scriptures, what many of you think you are is not what you really are—We are busy identifying with something that is contrary to our divine destiny in God.

The Bible says the spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord…You need to ask God to set your spirit on fire such that the Fire will reveal the real YOU to you and also help you manifest YOU to yourself and the whole world. You see, God will hardly use you in the manifestation of those things you do not believe you are or believed you have!

LET US STOP LIVING IN NEGATIVE IDENTITY, WHY DO YOU THINK THE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT SURROUND YOUR BIRTH, YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR COUNTRY IS WHAT DETERMINES WHO YOU ARE?…YOUR REAL IDENTITY IS NOT WHAT YOU SEE WITH YOUR PHYSICAL EYES, IT IS IN WHAT THE PERSON WHO CREATED YOU SAY AND REVEAL ABOUT YOU!!

STOP LIMITING YOURSELF, HAVE FAITH IN WHO YOU ARE IN GOD AND YOU WILL SEE GOD GLORIFY YOU WITH A GREAT GLORY…There is a special YOU that is in the heart of God, Find that YOU!!! Amen.
