EVERY CHURCH SHOULD HAVE PROPHETS

I was sitting down in the Church sometime ago and the Lord began to minister to me saying “how beautiful and glorious it is if I have prophets in every Church” and I began to reason deeply into what the Lord said, I discovered that the early Church comprised of churches that were filled with prophets. For instance, in Acts 13 verse 1, you will see that Apostle Paul (who was formerly named Saul) together with Barnabas were part of the prophets and teachers who were in the church in Antioch, So, Paul was a prophet and a teacher before he stepped into his Apostolic calling. Similarly, 1 Corinthians 12:28 and 14:29 proved that there were prophets also in the Corinthian church. But today, I saw that we have a lot of churches that have no prophets.

When the Lord showed me this, I came to the understanding that a single prophet is not enough for a church, meaning that a church can have more than four prophets fulfilling their prophetic assignments for God. However, I judged that one of the reasons why we don’t have this kind of structure in our churches today is because there’s a high level of pride, envy, hatred and divisions in our churches. Today, you will see a young man who just newly began to function in some prophetic gifts becoming so proud and high minded such that he can no longer submit to the leadership and authority of his pastor…now that God is using him mightily, he felt it is time to leave the church and start his own movement or ministry (whereas God is not leading him that way). In some other cases, you will see the pastor or the overseer of a church becoming envious of the new prophets God is raising up from within the church, he feels that if he allows these prophets to shine, people will start following after them instead of himself—Therefore he tries as much as possible to silence these rising voices.

If your church doesn’t have a prophet or prophetess yet, you can be that prophet your church needs. We cannot rule out the importance of the prophetic ministry in the Church of God today, now that a thick darkness has covered the whole earth and the churches, we need a strong prophetic ministry for us to outsmart the dark kingdom and defeat their operations. The prophetic ministry gives hope and faith to the people, it makes the people have a feeling that God is right there in their midst, it exposes sin, darkness and weakness and sets the people on a journey to everlasting strength and victory. Yes, we need the prophetic ministry for us to find true encouragement as well as deliverance from all Satanic bondages and yokes!

IN CONCLUSION, WE HAVE PEOPLE THAT WERE BORN TO BE PROPHETS, BUT WE ALSO HAVE PEOPLE THAT WERE MADE PROPHETS BECAUSE OF NECESSITY—THIS IMPLIES THAT GOD CAN MAKE YOU A PROPHET BECAUSE YOUR CHURCH NEEDS PROPHETS!!

LET US ASK GOD TO GIVE US PROPHETS THAT WILL BIRTH THE END TIME REVIVAL AND RESTORATION THE WHOLE WORLD NEED AT THIS TIME!!! Amen.
