BE FULL OF THE HOLY GHOST
I was in a discussion with the Lord and He told me this, He said “If you are not full of the Holy Ghost, there are some things you do and experience now that wouldn’t have been possible”. The Lord made me to understand that there’s a difference between “having the Holy Spirit” and “being full of the Holy Spirit”, He said when you are full of the Holy Spirit, that is when the Spirit makes you to do something supernatural or experience something supernatural. And I looked into the Scriptures and saw several examples of people who were filled with the Holy Ghost and were moved to do unusual things, these people didn’t just sit down after they were filled with the Holy Ghost, the fullness made them do powerful, wonderful and glorious things for the Kingdom of God.
Being full of the Holy Ghost is similar to being DRUNK with wine (Ephesians 5:18), you know that it’s not all those who drink wine that gets drunk, there’s a number of bottles of wine you must have drank before you get drunk, and after you get drunk, you will know that you are no longer yourself and you won’t be able to think, move, see nor speak correctly. Now, the same thing applies to the Holy Ghost, if you are not yet full or drunk with the Holy Ghost, there are some things that might never happen to you or through you, I mean you have to be so full of the Spirit for Him to move upon you or move you to do extraordinary things. There are quite a lot of believers in the Church today who only have the Holy Spirit but don’t have the fullness of Him…Maybe you are already comfortable with the fact that you could speak with few unknown tongues, prophesy occasionally, pray to some extent, preach well etc but I want you to know that you are only experiencing “a teaspoonful of the Holy Ghost”, you have not actually experienced what it means to be full of, moved and carried by the Holy Ghost…there are certain divine visitations, encounters and revelations that will not happen to you until you are FULL of the Holy Ghost.
It takes a price to carry the fullness of the Holy Ghost at all times, Firstly, there are certain things in your life that the Holy Ghost must get rid of for Him to move freely in you and through you. If you are so full of yourself, you can never carry the fullness of the Spirit, though He could use you sometimes through spiritual gifts but you won’t be able to contain His presence and fullness continually, therefore, the fullness of the Holy Ghost is not for the proud, fearful, doubtful, fornicator, adulterer, hateful, lustful, angry, disobedient, perverse, and wicked. Secondly, To carry the fullness of the Holy Ghost, you must be a praying and fasting machine, you must learn to pray for many hours nonstop, you must pray to a point where you will be TOO FULL of the Holy Ghost to continue (not too tired)…I have prayed to a point where the Spirit told me to stop immediately because I was going to make some terrible things happen (that should not happen yet), Also, you will need to fast often, if you can’t fast yet, you need to ask God for the Grace to fast because you will need fasting to continually carry and manifest the fullness of the Holy Ghost especially the fullness of His Power. Thirdly, and not the least, you will need to do enough studying and meditations on the Scriptures, you must study and meditate until you get revelations in the process—Just a single revelation can give you a major breakthrough into the fullness of God and also connect you to several other revelations.
BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST IS NOT A ONE TIME EXPERIENCE, THIS IS BECAUSE WE DON’T GET FILLED TO REMAIN FULL, WE GET FILLED TO USE THE FULLNESS TO BLESS THE PEOPLE OF GOD SO THAT WE CAN SEEK GOD AGAIN FOR ANOTHER FULLNESS!!
IF YOU HAVE NOT YET SPOKEN WITH POWERFUL TONGUES AND PROPHESIED, IT IS NOT GOD LIMITING YOU, IT IS YOU WHO HAVE NOT YET SOUGHT AFTER HIS FULLNESS WITH DEEP HUNGER AND THIRST…SOME THINGS CAN ONLY HAPPEN IN HIS FULLNESS…This is when it is no longer you but Him alone!!! Don’t let go until you are full!!!! Amen.
