AMBITIOUS PASTORS

I took a deep look into several churches and ministries we have today and I saw that the kind of pastors we have now were not the kind of pastors we used to have some decades ago. Our pastors of today have become so ambitious to the point that they have lost contact with the will of God for His Church, they made the people of God their own people and the things of God their own things…So, they devised so many means of creating name and fame for themselves, they also turned the work of God into a money making business in order to enrich themselves – Yes, they used manipulation and deception to achieve their selfish interests.

In some years back, we do see Brothers and Sisters pray like this: “Oh Lord, my life is not my own, I have no will of my own, let only your will prevail in my life Lord – Use me Oh Lord for your glory, make my life into whatever you want it to become” but today I saw that people don’t pray like this anymore, we are now the ones telling God what we want to become and we want God to perform our selfish desires for us, we no longer care about the PERFECT WILL OF GOD, we just want everything to go in our own way according to the fullness of our lusts and pride. Today, almost every pastor and prophet wants to be famous, everyone wants to be a General Overseer with thousands of congregation and multitudes trooping after them! Pastors are now after building the best houses, riding the best cars and jets, we are advertising our names and fame everywhere instead of advertising JESUS – A true servant seeks and promotes the glory of His Master and not his own glory!

I am not saying pastors should be poor, local and unsuccessful, what I am saying is that, Every born again believer (including pastors) MUST lose their own ambitions and completely follow after the will of God. When Jesus called the apostles, Bible said they left what they were doing and followed Him, meaning that they lost their ambitions and took up God’s destiny for their lives – Even Paul the Apostle said he counted all that he had ever achieved on earth as dung so that he can GAIN Christ. But today, it appears to me that people are looking for things they should lose and they have stopped looking for the things they should gain. If we submit completely to the will of God, we won’t have to struggle and commit sin to become great. Jesus knows how to give us the influence, fame, prosperity and establishments we are looking for. We just need to keep following Jesus and do ministry the way He wants it done, then we would see His Glory manifest.

I HAVE SEEN AMBITIOUS PASTORS BECOMING AN HINDRANCE TO THE MOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE CHURCH…THESE PASTORS AND PROPHETS COULD NOT ALLOW REVIVAL TAKE PLACE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT IF GOD HAVE HIS WAY, THEIR SELFISH AMBITIONS WILL NOT BE ACHIEVED!!

HOW MANY MINISTERS OF GOD TODAY ARE WILLING TO LAY DOWN THEIR CARNAL PASSIONS AND INTERESTS FOR THE WILL OF GOD TO PREVAIL?!!! Repent Now!!!! Amen.
