YOUR WEAKNESS IS A TREASURE

Do you know that in the Kingdom of God, the most powerful people are usually the most weak people?, God told Paul that His Power works best in weakness. Why do you always think of your weak state as a problem when that is the best state of your life that can reveal the greatest powers of God in the earth.

Light shines the strongest and brightest when there’s the strongest and thickest darkness. I want you to start seeing your dark and weak moments as treasures, see your problems or negative situations as best opportunities for God to reveal the Greatness of who He is.

Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

2 Corinthians 12:8‭-‬9 NLT

Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

1 Corinthians 1:27 NLT

So, Are you now ready to believe God in that hopeless state you are right now? Are you willing to allow God strengthen you from the inside and help you on the outside?

I realized that what gives us comfort and joy is not the visible miracles God does but what the presence of God inside of us does—This is why God does physical miracles mostly when we have been strengthened on the inside. Such as: When our faith and trust is strong, when our patience is perfect, when there’s victory in our souls etc

There are a lot of people out there who have every physical gift and comfort you could imagine, their problems are not lack of money or properties, they have influence, they have fame, they could literally get anything they want at any time to give them the pleasures they need, but the truth is, they are suffering seriously every hour.

Jesus was right when He said “the life of a man does not consist in the things which he owns”, Stop putting your trust and hope in physical or seen things, believe in the presence of God that is inside of you and seek to find comfort in the Holy Spirit and not in earthly things

Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”

Luke 12:15 NLT And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. 22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

God is interested in weaknesses and weak things because of the nature of His Glory. Whenever God manifests the greatness of His Glory, He doesn’t want anyone or any man to think of himself as a contributor or influencer to His Glory, He wants only Him to be glorified.

God knows that when men are weak or incapacitated, they will give Him great glory if He helps them in those moments and they won’t ascribe His miracles to any human effort

1 Corinthians 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

If God reveals the greatness of His Glory in the weaknesses of men, then our faith won’t be in man’s wisdom but in God’s power—And this is what God wants.

When I discovered that God has chosen weak and foolish things to reveal the greatness of Himself, I determined to always humble myself to the level of “nothing” and “nobody” so that the power of God can always flow through me. I stopped seeing myself as someone who can fast, can pray, can preach, can teach, or can do any good thing. I began to see myself as someone who knows nothing…yes, as a big fool, so that I can experience God’s power and learn God’s wisdom.

In conclusion, if today you are being faced with a dark and weak situation, you should be happy because that is the situation God loves most. God told me that if people can trust Him in their weak state, they will always find Him. He said if He can’t give them back what they have lost, He would give them things far precious than what they had lost, yes, things that would made them forget their losses and pains. So, my brothers and sisters, this is not the time to draw far from God, this is not the time to blame God or complain against Him…This is the time to believe God and trust Him.
