WHAT PRAYING IN TONGUES CAN DO (2)

Jesus Christ spoke prophetically about what will happen to those who will believe on Him, He said “out of their bellies shall flow rivers of living waters” – Speaking or praying in tongues is a practical fulfillment of this prophecy. The tongues we speak by the Spirit are like living waters that is going forth to give life to dying or dead things, and also give comfort, restoration and refreshing to the world.

Other things that praying in tongues can do include:
4) IT CAN HELP YOU PRAY FOR A LONG TIME. Most times when you pray in your own language or understanding, you will get to a point where you won’t know what to pray about again, to you, it would appear that you have prayed about everything you believe you needed or thinks you should pray about…But when you pray in tongues, you can go on praying for the next 5 hours and you won’t get tired. Now, this doesn’t mean you would pray in tongues throughout the hours but as you pray in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit would be giving you things to pray about (He would show them to you or impress it on your mind).
5) IT CAN HELP YOU GROW IN OTHER SPIRITUAL GIFTS. Because this gift of tongues is a gift that can trigger or charge or quicken your spirit, it therefore has the ability to activate other spiritual gifts that are inside you and build you up in the manifestation and demonstration of those gifts. For instance, one of the best ways to grow in prophetic gifts is to spend much time praying in tongues.
6) IT CAN LEAD YOU TO VISIONS AND THE VOICE OF GOD. Also, because praying in tongues can trigger up fire in your spirit and that fire can lighten up your spirit, So, your spiritual eyes will become very sharp to see what the Lord is showing you (we both know that it is difficult to see in an environment that is full of darkness). You also need to know that the voice of God is like waters, winds and thunderings in the spiritual realm, So, as living waters flow out of you, the voice of God can come out of them.
7) IT CAN LEAD TO ANGELIC TONGUES. Paul wrote about “tongues of angels”, as you pray in tongues, you can find yourself speaking in the tongues of angels. This means that you are communicating with angels or giving them commands to carry out certain operations which will lead to instant miracles or results. To be continued.
