WHAT PASTORS ARE NOT TEACHING ABOUT SEX
The Lord began to speak to me last night that Sex has become stronger over His people such that it’s now ruling His people, He said a lot of believers today have become slaves to sex, and this is not just referring to the unmarried Christians, this also includes the married Christians. We know that there’s more to marriage than sex but Satan has made sex a god in so many marriages such that TRUE LOVE and INTIMACY has been destroyed, some spouses only see themselves as sex machines, their bodies always want each other but their hearts are so far from one another, and every other thing that goes on in that marriage is only centered on and controlled by the body of the woman or the man—That is, everything in such marriage is just about physical appearances and there’s no sense of unity, trust, spirituality, devotion and hunger or thirst for God. Pastors today will advise and encourage you to quickly get married so that you can enjoy sex within the confinement of marriage and be free from sexual sins but they won’t tell you that it is not marriage that will deliver you from sexual sins, it is only JESUS who can deliver you from Sin including sexual sins! If you got married just because you felt so lonely and needed sexual satisfaction, you have made a terrible mistake, this is because devil is going to hunt after you and ensure that you become a slave of what you are looking for such that you won’t get enough of what you are looking for, and then you will get frustrated until things begin to fall apart in your marriage or relationship.
The Lord told me He hasn’t created anything that will be too powerful than Him, He created Sex so that we can use it and not that Sex should use us, control us and rule over us. In Exodus 19:15, Moses told the people according to the word of the Lord that they must abstain from sex until the third day that they will be appearing before God, and I began to ask myself Do we still have people in our generation today who can abstain from sex for certain days because they want to seek God fervently and find Him?…Our generation has become so sexual that almost everything we do, say, wear, see, hear and interact with on daily basis always suggest Sex to our minds, we don’t make our environment suggest God to people’s minds, we have become a highly seductive generation and the most painful thing is the fact that this sexual seduction is prevailing strongly over the Church of God worldwide and it’s sinking us into Hell.
In a vision, a pastor came and told me, he said “there’s this brother God has been telling me that he’s committing sexual sin secretly, thank God today I caught him red handed, God has exposed him”, this pastor was so excited in that revelation that God finally exposed the man, and I saw the man carried his belongings and ran out of the church. I began to wonder how many people in the church today (both married and unmarried) who have been secretly committing fornication and adultery!—We need to seriously begin to ask God to expose such brethren among us so that they can repent and be restored.
Let us stop celebrating weaknesses and carnality, let us raise and build a generation of Christians who are slaves to nothing but ruler of all things through Christ, we need a generation of believers who are ready to ZIP UP and be pure despite a lot sexual temptations calling for them. You see, if you really want to engage with the heavenly realms, you will need to abstain from a lot of sex, sex is going to bind you to the earthly realms, I think Christians should not only fast their stomachs (abstaining from foods), we should also fast our sexual desires because we want to get the best of God—Tell me, how would a woman who is mourning the death of her only child think about sex (Zechariah 12:10), the spirit of Intercession is like the spirit of mourning.
LET US CALL A SPADE A SPADE, IF THIS GENERATION IS AS HUNGRY FOR GOD AS WE ARE HUNGRY FOR SEX, WE WOULD HAVE SEEN GREAT DIMENSIONS OF GOD’S GLORY BEING MANIFESTED UPON US…HOW MUCH DO YOU REALLY LOVE THE LORD?, HOW MUCH OF GOD’S KINGDOM ARE YOU SEEKING AFTER?!!
DEVIL IS KILLING OUR SPIRITS THROUGH SEX SLAVERY, A LOT OF BELIEVERS ARE DYING SPIRITUALLY (INCLUDING OUR PASTORS), DON’T LET A TEMPORAL AND FADING PLEASURE OF SEX SEPARATE YOU FROM ETERNAL PLEASURES WITH GOD IN HEAVEN!!! I am not saying “Don’t sleep with your wife”, I am simply saying “Let not Sex rule and ruin your life”!!!! Amen.
