THEY SEW IT BACK

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

The Holy Spirit ministered to me saying “Do you know that Judaism religion ended at that very moment the veil of the temple was rent into two?, But the sad thing is that the people went ahead and sew up the torn veil so they could continue in their darkness and deception”. For those of you who don’t know what Judaism is, it is a system of worshipping God according to the law of Moses. God showed them with a visible undeniable sign that He is done with that worship system but they still couldn’t believe God, their hearts had been so darkened

As the Spirit was speaking to me, I began to understand that similar things that happened to those Judaism Jews are now happening to many Christian believers today. That veil that got torn at Jesus’ death was there to show the presence of a barrier between God and man, and that no one can access God directly except through several intermediaries such as blood sacrifices of animals, priests and high priest. And even the high priest could only enter into the most holy place once in a year—Note that the veil was covering the entrance into the most holy place

And God removed the veil to show that there’s no need for high priests, priests and animal sacrifices to connect with Him anymore. Now, He has given us Jesus Christ as the Mediator that will connect us to Him, Jesus is both the sacrifice and high priest for us at this time. However, I see that many Christians are still sewing up veils that Jesus Christ has torn in pieces, we are still looking for intermediaries to connect with God, we still can’t believe that Jesus has done everything needed for us to have personal relationships with the Father individually

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Many of you still don’t understand why God set Ministries and Ministers in His Church, men of God are not meant to be intermediaries between God and man, they are only meant to teach, help and show you how to know God very closely on your own. When Jesus was going to define Eternal Life, He said Eternal Life is to know God and to know Jesus Christ whom He sent

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

This means if you don’t know God, then you don’t have eternal life in you, the life that Jesus came to give us is a life that goes along with knowledge, it’s a life that makes you know God experientially (not head knowledge), this life keeps calling you to come closer and deeper into God, this is the same life that is in God—This is the Spirit of God in you.

Note that the knowledge of God is beyond words and teachings, preaching and teaching are just invitation to begin to know God, they are not the knowledge of God. The knowledge of God has to do with EXPERIENCES, it is not physical, it is spiritual, God is Spirit, therefore you can only know Him in the Spirit and as a Spirit. You know someone because you can see the person, communicate with the person, touch the person, you know where the person lives, can walk into his house to visit him, etc. The same thing applies with knowing God…And in fact, knowing God is deeper than that, to know God really, you have to be in Him and Him in you (an eternal bond)

Now, let me come back to VEILS, Are you sewing up veils to block yourself from knowing God?…Sometimes when I’m preaching to people, I could discern in my heart that those people don’t want to draw close to God because they know that God will demand that they get rid of certain things in their lives. Likewise, some other believers refused to seek God’s will regarding some issues in their lives because they knew that God will tell them to do what they don’t want to do. Here is the truth, God has torn down so many veils to bring you closer to Himself but Are you happy with that? Are you not sewing up the veils again?

God has defeated sin and the power of sin (which is flesh or self) on the cross of Calvary, and God is saying “Now it’s your turn to deny the desires of this flesh and kill them all so you can know Me” but you don’t want to do that because you love yourself so much and you love this world so much. This shows that you are not different from the Jews who felt it was in their power to choose how they want to worship God and serve Him, after God had showed them through many infallible proofs that He has rejected their mode of worship, they still went ahead doing their own thing

The Lord also told me that the moment the veil of the temple torn into two, all the angels assigned for that worship system were automatically withdrawn from there and this marked the end of that covenant because a new covenant had just been established. What can we learn from this?, it implies that WHAT GOD HAS REJECTED CAN NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED. If God says get rid of something or tells you to shutdown something, don’t think you can make God accept that thing again, the wise thing to do is to obey so that you don’t perish with that thing God has already judged and condemned

When God says leave a church or ministry, cut off a friendship or relationship, delete or block a contact permanently from your phone or device etc, and you are sluggishly delaying to obey because of emotional reasons, then it means you are sewing up veils between you and God. The more you get rid of your veils, the more of God you will know and enjoy

But if you keep those veils, then you should forget about eternal life or making heaven.
