THE SILENT PROPHET

A prophet, by calling, is someone who is supposed to be a VOICE to his generation, he is not someone that should keep quiet when he must speak. In fact, Jeremiah said the word of God is like fire in his bones and he can’t just but speak them out! I saw that there are so many silent prophets in the Church today, God has spoken to them but they refused to speak the Word to those who must hear it, they saw things going wrong in the house of God but they refused to speak out – these prophets are either afraid of the people or too ashamed to be identified with the truth.

Now, I know that it’s not everything God tells you, shows you or reveals to you that you must say to the public. But there are some revelations that God specifically gives a prophet so that he can declare them to the people, in fact, God allows him to see those things because of the people. It is an insult to the Grace of God and the Anointing of God upon your life if you refuse to deliver the message God gave you for His Church or the world. You can be preaching and prophesying about other things but it is until you start proclaiming the real message God sent you to deliver that you are actually fulfilling your calling. It is better not to hear from God at all than to hear from God and not obey the order given by God!

On the other hand, there are some cases whereby it is not the desire of the prophet or prophetic believer to keep silent but it is the leadership system of the Church that have silenced the prophet. For instance, in some churches, they do not welcome prophecies, visions and revelations, if God reveals something to you for the church, you dare not speak it, you have to keep it to yourself – A church like this is quenching the Spirit and is bound to suffer terrible consequences.

Additionally, some prophets have allowed money and gifts they receive from people to silence them, they can no longer preach and teach the truth to the congregation because they fear they might hurt the people and lose them…So, in a bid to please men, they became silent regarding the truth.

WHAT HAS GOD SENT YOU TO DELIVER TO YOUR GENERATION? IT IS BETTER YOU SPEAK OUT NOW BEFORE GOD JUDGES YOU AND REPLACE YOU WITH ANOTHER WHO WILL OBEY HIM!!

THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY HAS A LOT TO DO IN RESTORING AND REVIVING THE CHURCH, LET US NOT HINDER THE MOVE OF THE SPIRIT!!! Amen.
