SIGNS OF A PROPHET (2)

There are many things happening in churches today that many of us have been deceived to believe to be signs of a true Prophet, but in actuality, these things we see are not the signs of a true prophet from God. The ministry of a Prophet has a lot to do with Heaven and God than it has to do with the Earth and People, therefore, a Prophet is such a person that sees so deep into the mind of God, receives a lot of revelations from Heaven and delivers messages God has commanded him to say to the people. A prophet is not a diviner who sees into people’s lives and people’s secrets to prove that he has the power to see or discern, if God reveals the secrets of people to a prophet, God does that because He has something to say in that direction. So, a Prophet is such a person that is moved by the Holy Spirit to speak or prophesy and not moved by the desires of people who are looking for prophecies.

Other signs of a Prophet include:

4) HIS WORDS WILL COME TO PASS. There were certain things I told some people sometime ago, and when I told them, it was as if I was just making noise because they never believed the words will come to pass, but after some years, they came back to confess that those words actually came to pass as I said it. The reason why God never allows the words of His prophets to fall to the ground is not because of the prophet, it is because of God who called and raised up the prophet, God does it to prove to the people that He is the One who has called and anointed the prophet. I know that false prophets also speak things that come to pass but you should know that similar thing happen with the true ones as well.

5) ANGELIC MINISTRATIONS. Elijah had a strong angelic ministry such that angels usually fellowship, minister and stay with him for a long time. For instance, when he called down fire from heaven to destroy the soldiers who came to arrest him, there was an angel physically standing by him at that time (though the soldiers didn’t see the angel). A prophet is such that receives ministrations and visitations from the angels a lot, this is because he is going to need them—Walking and working with the angels is not for fun but for functions and Power, the prophet needs the angelic ministry because of divine intelligence, divine messages, visions, dreams, signs and wonders, victories, etc. The prophetic ministry is a ministry at the GATE OF HEAVEN, So, it must involve many angels!

6) VISIONS. There are different types of visions God gives the prophet. We have Open Visions—This is a kind of vision where you are physically launched into the spiritual realm in order to see and hear things, for instance, you could hear a voice call your name from behind you, and as you turned to see the one calling you, you suddenly find yourself in a new world entirely. We also have Trance Visions—These are visions you see when you are neither asleep nor fully awake, it could appear as if a movie is being played before you, and you could also hear the voice of the Lord at the same time. We also have Deep Trance or Out of Body experiences, in this case, it would appear as if your spirit was taken out of your body into another realm where you see and hear things. Lastly, we have Picture Visions—Here, you will see a picture of things or persons revealed to you while your eyes are open or closed (and you will definitely need the help of the Holy Spirit to understand and interpret the picture vision). GOD USUALLY EQUIP HIS PROPHETS WITH SPECIAL GRACE, STRENGTH AND ANOINTING TO ACCURATELY DISCERN THE SPIRITUAL REALMS…IF YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE THE CALLING OF A PROPHET, THE QUESTION IS: HAVE YOU BEEN EQUIPPED, TRAINED AND ANOINTED FOR THE OFFICE?!! THE PROPHETIC CALLING IS NOT IN THE TITLE, IT IS IN WHAT YOU HAVE BECOME AND WHERE YOU HAVE ATTAINED IN GOD!!!…How we need heavenly anointed prophets!!!! Amen.
