SHADOW OF DEATH (Part 3)

Let’s say for instance you attended a birthday party and while the party was going on, a seductive looking lady suddenly came to sit in front of you, looking at her, you saw more than half of her breasts displayed and her eyes was calling to you in a seductive way, and then she said “I love you, can we have some fun?”—This exactly is a shadow of death, and if you fall into such a trap as this, that could be the end of your destiny and you might never rise up again. I told someone who was dealing with addiction saying “whenever the urge comes up in you, you need to ask yourself, Do I want to die?”, I said so because every sin of addiction is targeted to continually weaken and kill people spiritually but if you don’t want to die, you will refuse to die, you will choose Life and Light.

Other Shadows of Death include:

4) SIN ENVIRONMENTS. There are certain environments we are not supposed to find Christians, I wonder what a Christian is doing in places where sins are being practiced openly on daily basis, for instance, what should you be doing in places where they drink beers and alcoholic drinks—Why should you sit there?! What are you doing among drug dealers and addicts?…Why should you be in places where prostitution, fornication, adultery, all forms of perversions and music whores are the order of the day?! You need to know that the longer you stay in a sin environment, the more likely you are going to die spiritually. Sometimes, some people are the ones who created a sin environment for themselves, for example, Why should you as a lady invite a man (who is not your husband) to come visit you in your house at a time when you know he would have to sleep over?—In this case, both of you would have kindled a fire of sin that would not stop burning until you have both commit the sin. Also, Why should you stay alone with a lady or guy behind closed door for a long time?!

5) SEDUCTIONS. I defined seduction as the ability of using what people love or strongly desire to trap them into captivity. There are different types of seductions as well as different platforms for seductions, we have: Sexual seductions (which involves seductive dressings and make ups, seductive magazines and novels, music sexual seductions, TV sexual seductions, Internet sexual seductions and sexual slangs, jokes, & comedies), Greed seductions (which involves Gambling, Game betting, bribery and corruption, scamming and all forms of get rich quick platforms) and Prophetic seductions (this involves using prophetic gifts to manipulate, control and deceive people, using divination to steal from people in the name of God…etc).

6) CARNAL MINDEDNESS. Your mind is so powerful in the sense that it can either put you in an environment of death or life depending on how you use it. Bible spoke in Romans 8:6 saying To be carnally minded is death, You see, your carnal mind is the closest shadow of death to you and the easiest way to die spiritually is to start thinking lustfully, sinfully, worldly, and carnally. If a large percentage of the thoughts that fill your mind on daily basis has nothing to do with Jesus and His Kingdom, then you are already dead spiritually and it would be so difficult and impossible for you to fulfill your calling and destiny. How would God speak to you in a dead, dark and confused environment you have created with your mind?! You must know that what goes on in your mind will surely affect your spirit—Show me a man with a pure and free spirit, then I will tell you that such a man is a man of a pure and spiritual mind. A carnal mind is an enemy of God.

SOMETIMES WHEN I VISIT SOME CHRISTIAN FAMILIES, I SEE HOW THE PARENTS HAVE CREATED SHADOWS OF DEATH FOR THE CHILDREN IN THAT HOME—HOW DO YOU DRESS UP YOUR CHILDREN?, WHAT KIND OF MUSIC AND MOVIES DO YOU PLAY IN THE HOME?, HOW DO YOU DRESS AND BEHAVE BEFORE YOUR KIDS?!!

IF YOU CAN’T GUARD YOUR HOME AND KIDS FROM THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WONDER HOW YOU WILL DEFEAT THE SHADOWS OF DEATH ON THE STREETS…

Bible says Work out your salvation with fear and trembling, if we fail to do our own part, we won’t see God’s hand of deliverance!!! Amen.
