REMAIN DEAD

Whenever we read the Bible, we have to read with understanding, when the Bible says we have died with Christ or we have been dead to sin, the Bible meant a state where Christ has already placed us but we have to choose to stay at this DEAD STATE, meaning that you can decide not to die even though you were supposed to be dead. The same thing applies to when the Bible says “Christ has delivered us from the power of darkness…(Col. 1:13)” meanwhile a lot of Christians still need deliverance today, this shows that there are certain things that is left for you to work out yourself despite the fact that Christ has already done it for you, and you are going to need faith, obedience, spiritual exercises, and proper decisions in order for you to attain and remain where Christ wants you to be.

When we got born again, it is our spirits that got born again, In John chapter 3 Jesus said that the Flesh gives birth to the flesh and the Spirit gives birth to the spirit, meaning that when God gave birth to us (which is what born again means), He gave birth to a new creature which is a spirit because God is Spirit. Therefore, the only thing that God wants for your flesh (the real YOU) is that you should die and remain dead so that the NEW YOU (which you do not yet understand) can emerge and please God, this as well implies that your physical body, feelings, emotions, and a large percentage of your soul should no longer rule your life anymore, it is now the presence of God in your regenerated spirit and the new heart (which is the mind of Christ in you or the renewed soul) that should henceforth lead your life.

The OLD YOU must die and remain dead for the NEW YOU to manifest and fulfill your divine destiny, if you claim to have been dead to alcoholism, why do you still find pleasure drinking some little alcohol once in a while?, if you claim to have died to fornication and adultery, why do you still enjoy having sexual and seductive relationships with men, women, boys and girls you were never married to?! The reason why many of you are not growing spiritually is because you are not ready to remain dead to sin, flesh and worldliness, you want to enjoy Christ and still want to enjoy darkness at the same time—It doesn’t work that way. You want God to use you so mightily at this time?, then you have to KILL so many things in your life and make sure they stay dead forever! Why is anger, pride, bitterness, malice, envy, unforgiving spirit, lustful thoughts, covetousness, hatred and lying still alive in your life?! Some of you are the cause of the oppressions and afflictions happening in your life, you are the one inviting demons into your life because of the unclean things you do…you keep going to men of God for deliverance whereas all you needed to do was to repent and discipline yourself.

THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS IN THIS WORLD THAT APPEARS VERY APPEALING, ATTRACTIVE AND INVITING TO THE OLD YOU BUT YOU MUST KEEP THE OLD YOU UNDER DEATH!!

WHEN DEALING WITH YOUR FLESH, YOU MUST NOT TRY TO REASON WITH YOUR FLESH, YOU MUST NOT SHOW YOUR FLESH MERCY, THE ONLY THING YOUR ADAMIC NATURE DESERVE IS DEATH—YOU MUST KILL IT…The OLD YOU must remain dead forever!!! Amen.
