NOTHING LEFT OF ME

Sometime ago while in dry fasting, I told God that I need Him to transform me into who I am in Him, and He said “I will do it”, and not long after that I began to see a lot of things die in my life, I mean I could literally feel in my spirit that I’m dying, I told God saying “Lord, what is happening to me?”, He said “The first stage of transformation is death, you must die for the NEW YOU to emerge”. I saw the Lord visit the foundation of so many things in my life and began to correct things that were not properly and righteously laid. And on one day I suddenly opened my mouth and said “Oh, nothing left of me” because God was busy taking away things that shouldn’t be in me, and I could see it.

I was telling someone sometime ago that God doesn’t mind to train and prepare a man for ten years and only use the man for one year, I said if it would take God so long to empty the man of himself and then change him into the person he should be, God would rather wait until the man is completely ready for His use. I said this because I know that the only thing that has been a barrier between God and man after the price Jesus paid on the cross is THE FLESH. Do you know that God is having so much problems with human beings than He is having with demons and Satan?! The Bible said the heart of man is desperately wicked and deceitful, If there’s anything you need to sincerely pray about, It is that God should deliver YOU from yourself. I discovered that there are so many things we don’t need to preach to you about (that you should not do) if your flesh is no longer alive—This is because a large percentage of the sins we commit every day originates from our flesh or carnal nature or adamic nature, So, if the root of sin is dead, where would sins come from!

You know that there are some instructions in the Bible that people still find so difficult to obey today, So I began to ask myself, If we are actually dead to the flesh, what is the big deal in we dressing well, ladies covering their heads during prayer and worship, not wearing jewelries and makeups, ladies not wearing trousers etc?—I saw that if we are actually emptied of ourselves, the question we should be asking shouldn’t be “Why must I follow these instructions?”, It should be “Why can’t I follow these instructions if God would require me do them?”, If we count ourselves as nothing, we wouldn’t hesitate to separate ourselves from those things that defiles and disapprove the real PERSON we are in Christ. Do you know that the reason why many marriages have fallen and been destroyed is because of the influence of “the flesh”?! A pastor once said that if all Christians are dead to their flesh and transformed, we wouldn’t need so many books on marriage counseling, he said we would have marriages that would last till the end because both spouses are full of love, wisdom and God’s presence. My question for you now is: What is left of you that is not yet dead??.

JESUS SAID CAN A NEW WINE BE POURED INTO AN OLD WINESKIN?, THE ANSWER IS NO, A NEW WINE MUST BE POURED INTO A NEW WINESKIN!! MAYBE YOU HAVE BEEN PRAYING THE WRONG PRAYERS ALL THESE WHILE, MAYBE WHAT YOU SHOULD ASK GOD TO DO FOR YOU IS TO EMPTY YOU OF YOURSELF AND CHANGE YOU INTO SUCH A MAN THAT WILL CARRY HIS GLORY!!! May God kill all that is left of flesh in you. Amen.
