LET YOUR MIND LEAD YOUR BODY

Though the Bible said that a child of God is such that is always led by the Holy Spirit, however, I discovered that you also have a part to play in the leading process, this is because it is possible that the Holy Spirit is leading you in a particular direction and you decide not to follow His direction. Also, I discovered that the kingdom of darkness have strategically organized their systems to make people follow after the sinful passions, lusts, feelings, emotions, drives, thirsts, pleasures, cravings, and desires of their bodies. They have strengthened their sin networks in such a way that you keep listening to what your body tells you it wants and you keep seeing yourself giving it what it wants—It’s like a spiritual remote control system.

Now, when I say “Let your mind lead your body”, I am not talking about your carnal mind, I am talking about your spiritual mind. Your mind can manifest two natures, Bible talked about carnal mindedness and spiritual mindedness, your mind is carnal when you set it on sin, worldly lusts, fleshly lusts and evil but it becomes spiritual when you set it on the word of God, the will of God and heavenly things. Romans 8:6 told us that every time your mind is carnal, there will be deadness surrounding your life and when your mind is spiritual, there will be life and peace all around you.

I saw that the body is full of gateways to the mind, and this includes: the eyes, ears, skin, emotions, temperaments etc, and the devil and his agents will try to initiate your mind through these channels, their aim is to initiate your mind and control you to do their bidding. For instance, let’s say you are walking on the streets and you suddenly saw a purse full of money, if you have not trained your mind to be spiritual, I am so sure that you will quickly pick the money and make it yours Or you accidentally saw a pornographic picture (a naked picture) while browsing Facebook or google, what your eyes saw at that moment will immediately try to establish sexual lust in your mind and if you don’t deal with it, you might end up masturbating.

You need to know that as a Christian, though your body is so physical and visible to the whole world, your lifestyle is not supposed to be determined by your body, you have not been called to live according to the cravings of your flesh, the real YOU is the person you are on the inside and not outside.

BELIEVE ME, IF YOU ARE THE TYPE THAT ALWAYS FOLLOW THE DICTATES OF YOUR BODY AND FEELINGS, THEN YOU WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME AN AGENT OF SATAN BECAUSE DEVIL KNOWS THAT HE CAN ALWAYS CONTROL YOU THROUGH THE CIRCUMSTANCES AROUND YOU!!

DO YOU WANT TO MAINTAIN A PURE HEART BEFORE GOD?, IF YES, THEN YOU MUST DISCIPLINE YOUR BODY TO LISTEN TO YOUR SPIRITUAL MIND!!! Amen.
