HOW TO MINISTER UNDER THE ANOINTING

I discovered that we have a lot of anointed ministers today who doesn’t know how to minister under the anointing. It is not enough to see the anointing flow out of you only, but it is more important to see it flow out from you at all times without ceasing or being interrupted—Meaning that, there should be nothing like “I was anointed yesterday but today I am not anointed”, Also, you need to note that the anointing is dynamic and renewing such that the anointing you functioned in yesterday should not be the same you will function in today…there’s a FRESH anointing for each day or each ministration.

The following are some few points to note when ministering under the anointing:

1) DON’T MINISTER FROM YOU. Most ministers usually see themselves as a kind of container who is full of the anointing and they want to pour out that anointing on the people they are ministering to – This kind of attitude or practice is very wrong, How?, If you look at the book of John chapter 15, Jesus Christ said He is the true Vine and we are the branches and later He said without Him we can do nothing, Now, if you think that the anointing you are ministering is coming from you, you are likely to run dry very quickly because you are not ministering from the Source of the anointing which is Christ. Therefore, if you don’t want to run dry of anointing, don’t minister from you but from Jesus who is in you…You must program your heart to think this way.

2) LET THE SPIRIT FILL YOUR MOUTH. What you say when ministering is as important as what is going to happen through your ministration, therefore, you must speak the right words when ministering for you to get the right results. In fact, no matter how anointed you are, if you don’t speak the right words during your ministration, you are going to hinder the anointing upon you from doing what God wants it to do. So, you must learn to open your mouth in faith for the Holy Spirit to fill it with His words irrespective of your level of preparation or eloquence.

3) MINISTER FROM THE HEAVENS. Bible says that we are seated together with Christ in the heavenly places, by faith, you need to see yourself standing or sitting in heaven and ministering to the people from heaven, you need to see yourself ministering from the FULLNESS of the Power and Authority of God in heaven. Also, you need to bring up the whole people or audience you are ministering to before God in heaven and let God rain upon them and help them. If you minister from the heavens, God will do some miracles you never prayed for, in fact, you wouldn’t need to lay hands on the people because God will be touching them all at once.

LASTLY, IF YOU WANT TO MINISTER POWERFULLY UNDER THE ANOINTING, YOU MUST LEARN TO YIELD TO THE FLOW OF THE ANOINTING, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE SAME DIRECTION THE HOLY SPIRIT IS LEADING YOU THROUGH!!

SOME MINISTERS HAVE HINDERED THE FLOW OF THE ANOINTING BECAUSE THEY WANTED THE ANOINTING TO FLOW IN THEIR OWN WAY AND NOT IN GOD’S WAY!!! If you are anointed, then learn to get the best out of that anointing!!!! Amen.
