HOW TO MINISTER THE HEALING ANOINTING

A pastor once said “if I am going to lay hands on someone with cancer for healing, I must go with something greater than cancer on the inside of me”. To heal the sick is not hard if you can follow certain biblical principles of faith. I will highlight some of those principles below:

1) HAVE COMPASSION ON THE SICK. Bible recorded that Jesus was moved with compassion for the sick people and He healed them all. There’s an emotional part of the healing anointing that should be considered. The truth is, if you don’t have deep love and compassion for the person you are praying for, you might not be able to get the person healed. The healing ministry is not a “show business”, it is not something you do to show forth pride and ego, the prayer you pray for the sick must come from deep inside your heart and you must feel the pains and suffering of the person you are praying for – It is this compassion that will activate the healing Power.

2) YOUR EYES MUST SEE THE PERSON AS ALREADY HEALED. The Scriptures say that when we pray, we should believe that we already have what we requested for, therefore, if you are to pray for a lame man, you must have already seen that lame man walking even before you begin the prayer. If you can’t conceive this imagination, it is better you wait until you can before you pray for the sick. This is because you must create a picture of what you want the anointing to do as well as a pattern the anointing will follow.

3) YOU MUST NOT DOUBT. If there’s anything that quickly kills the manifestation of divine healing, that thing is doubt. Most times the question that comes to your mind when you are going to pray for the sick is “What if after I had prayed, the sickness didn’t go?”, but this shouldn’t be a problem because the word of God already said the sick shall be HEALED once you lay hands on them, the Bible didn’t say “the sick might be healed”, it said they shall be healed. So, you must render every contrary thought, opinion and idea as a lie until you see the person get healed (even if it takes days before the healing shows up).

4) YOU MUST HAVE BEEN CHARGED UP BEFORE YOU GO OUT TO PRAY. Bible talked about building up your most holy faith through praying in the Spirit, the more the hours you had spent in prayer, the more you are likely to get instant miracles happen when you go to pray for people. Your spirit must be prayerfully charged up with enough anointing and strength and faith to effectively deliver the miracle and blessing coming from heaven.

YOU CAN’T COMPARE HOW A MAN WHO HAD SPENT 9 HOURS IN PRAYER BEFORE MINISTERING THE ANOINTING WILL FUNCTION TO A MAN WHO HAD ONLY SPENT ONE HOUR!! SOMETIMES, GOD WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU A REVELATION OF HOW YOU SHOULD PRAY FOR THE SICK WHILE IN PRAYER BEFORE YOU EVENTUALLY GO OUT TO PRAY!!!

Let us go and empty the hospital beds of sick people through the Power of God!!!! Amen.
