HOW DO I PRAY ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD? (2)

Sometime ago, during a powerful revival in Nigeria, some group of prayer warriors gathered themselves together, they formed a circle and placed a bowl of water in their midst, and they said “Lord, we are not going to stop praying until the water in this bowl begins to boil, and then shall we know that You have answered our prayers”, So, this group of people prayed for several hours and eventually, the water in the bowl began to boil so hard. Now, some of you might call this “fleecing” i.e they were trying to make God show a sign before they can believe, though what these people did looked like fleecing but it was also a demonstration of great faith, they understood that there is a POWER working inside believers (Ephesians 3:20) and they weren’t afraid to engage with this Power to produce miracles in the physical realm—This is called the power of persistent prayers.

Other ways through which you can pray according to the will of God are:

3) PRAY WITH SCRIPTURES. The Scriptures are the best prayer points or prayer guide you can ever use to pray and get powerful results in your life and calling, I have asked people to pray with Scriptures and they came back with tremendous testimonies. There’s power in the word of God, especially when you speak the word of God back to God, God is ever faithful to His word and He can never deny Himself nor His words unlike human beings who can deny their commitments to you and tell you they never said what they once said. There are hundreds of God’s promises for you in the Bible, search them out and use them to talk back to God, do this for 3 weeks and I’m sure you will come back to me to testify. Daniel did this and got angelic visitations!

4) PRAY FOR OTHERS. You know that when Jesus was on earth physically, He said “I do whatsoever I see the Father doing”, and the truth is, if you want your life and ministry to be at the center of God’s will, you must be doing things that agree with the same thing God is doing right now in heaven. And we have seen from the Scriptures that there’s one thing Jesus is doing right now in heaven and that thing is INTERCESSION. If you are so selfish in prayers, then you are going to miss a lot of benefits coming from heaven, anytime you pray for other people, you are doing the same thing Jesus is doing in heaven and you are definitely praying according to God’s will. Some of the spiritual gifts I have today came into my life because I spent hours and days passionately interceding for the Church and people. To be continued..

How do I know you lack genuine love? It is when you can’t pray for others (but only pray for yourself and family)!!! Amen.
