BLINDED BY EMOTIONS

A guy and a girl embraced each other so tightly because they felt they loved one another, the guy looked at the lady’s eyes and said “how I which I could always have you by my side every day”, the lady said “I seriously wished that too”, So, the girl began to visit the guy’s house and they kept having Sex together and enjoying each other—But surprisingly, these two people claim to be Christians and are even workers in their church. This so called love intimacy between them became so strong that the lady packed all her belongings and moved permanently into the guy’s house. And I began to wonder, when did sensual love became stronger than God’s commandments?! These two individuals were so blinded by emotions that they forgot God and His will, they kept practicing FORNICATION and still think their lives will attract God’s blessings!

It is in this generation that we saw a pastor who is already married having sexual relationship with several married women and single sisters in the Church, and this same pastor will mount the pulpit and preach with peace of mind without no conviction of sin. So, I began to wonder, how did sexual pleasure became so stronger than the fear of God in a pastor’s life?, I then concluded that one of the things we Christians must be so careful and watchful about at this time is EMOTIONAL BONDS OR CONNECTIONS, this is because devil is always hiding behind our emotions and feelings to pull us into sins and darkness. I have seen women who ended up sleeping with their pastors because the pastor was so anointed and gifted by God, and they just “love” him so much and did not know when this “love” made them to start seducing their pastors until the pastors slept with them. So, I began to wonder, what kind of love for my pastor would make me lead him into sin?!

Apart from Sex, there are other emotional connections in the Church today that is destroying the standard of God among us, it is in the Church today that you will find ministers like some members more than some other members—Why?, because those members are generous givers to the church and the leadership while the others don’t give so much…and you will see the pastor spend so much time prophesying, praying for, training and discipling those generous givers whereas he neglects the poor believers in the church. It would now get to a point that this so called “Financial Pillars” of the church will now be controlling the pastor, telling him what he should do and what he shouldn’t do, the pastor now becomes their errand boy because of the large sum of money they give to him and his church. Also, the mouth of the pastor becomes sealed up to the point that he can’t tell these financial giants the truth that should prepare them for heaven…What a shame!

IT IS BETTER YOU KILL THAT SINFUL EMOTION FLOWING THROUGH YOUR BLOOD NOW BEFORE IT DESTROYS YOUR SOUL…WHEN DID YOUR FEELINGS BECOME SO IMPORTANT THAN DOING THE WILL OF GOD AND OBEYING HIS VOICE?!!

NO MATTER HOW BEAUTIFUL, NICE, LOVING, CARING, ATTRACTIVE, GENEROUS AND APPEALING A PERSON LOOKS TO YOU, THE TRUTH REMAINS THAT THE WORD OF GOD IS GREATER THAN SUCH PERSON…DON’T ALLOW YOUR EMOTIONS TAKE YOU TO HELL…Repent Now and Live!!! Amen.
