HAVE YOU MISINTERPRETED THIS SCRIPTURE?

For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.

Romans 11:29 NLT

I’ve seen people quote the above Scripture to support the claim that “God can’t withdraw His spiritual gifts and anointing upon my life even if I backslide and fall back into sin” but this is a dangerous belief system, so dangerous to the soul, it is a witchcraft mindset. The question is, Why would a man be happy to have turned away from God and wants to use God’s gifts and calling against God?

The people of Israel had this mindset, they felt God had chosen them and called them specially and will not forsake them but God Himself killed and destroyed a lot of them when they turned against God and went after Satan.

What the verse quotation is talking about is concerning a generation being chosen by God and that God will save them in the end, and how God will save them is by helping them to turn back to Him, it is after they have turned to God that they will be saved. And this is proven by how God always sentence the Israelites to destruction by handing them over to their enemies every time they turn against Him.

So, for any anointed or gifted minister to think God will always back Him up after he or she has turned against God and chosen another path that is not of God, it is a great deception from hell. Usually, God will do the same thing He always do to the Israelites to such person, He would hand them over to the enemy and they shall serve the enemy and perish with the enemy if they don’t repent.

Another question is, Would such ministers lose the spiritual gifts and anointing after backsliding?, the answer is Yes, but how they will lose it is what many don’t understand. Spiritual gifts and anointing are not what you own and can keep as yours (just as you keep your money in your pocket), they are like REALMS you are given access to by God and you manifest those gifts and powers because you are in their realms. Now, if you turn against God and embrace darkness, two things can happen,

1) God can stop you from gaining access to the realms of those gifts and let you have access to the dark versions of those realms. For instance, when the Spirit of God left King Saul, he was automatically connected to the realms of demons and began to prophesy by evil spirits. Note that there’s a dark version of every spiritual gift from God. Prophets in this category would still be able to prophesy accurately but the power of God will not follow the prophecies to bring them to pass or cause a miracle, and this is why some of them began to stage fake miracles and some went to the devil to get witchcraft powers to perform signs and wonders

1 Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. 15 And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.

2) God can limit how much you function in those realms, you would still manifest those spiritual gifts and powers but it would be limited, God won’t use you as He wanted to, For instance, if you were meant to heal one thousand sick people in a day, God can reduce it to 50 people, and God does this most times if there are a lot of people who are still looking up to you as a vessel God uses, they want God to use you to help them and/or if you are still doing certain things right, that is, you have not yet completely backslided.
