EXPERIENTIAL CHRISTIANITY

Christianity is more experiential than theoretical, meaning that, you have a lot of spiritual experiences to enjoy in Christianity than just practicing religion. And I saw that many of us in the Church today only have “a form of godliness” but we lack the Power in it, our preachers seem to have much knowledge, eloquence and theological understanding but most of what they tell us are things they themselves have not experience. When the early Apostles began ministry, they said “we cannot but speak those things which we have seen and heard” meaning that, they knew what they were called to preach, they had tasted of the Power of the Gospel and it is more REAL to them than any other thing.

Now, if we preach “freedom from sin”, then why are you not free from sin. If we preach “divine healing”, then why are you relying on drugs and medical treatments for your healing and health. If we preach “freedom from Satanic oppressions”, then why is Satan oppressing, tormenting and molesting your life till today. If we preach that “God is faithful and powerful”, then why are you finding it difficult to put all your trust in God and totally depend on Him (instead, you were seeking help from dark powers)…. If we preach “Holy Ghost baptism”, why are you not yet baptised in the Holy Ghost till now. If we preach “manifestation of spiritual gifts”, why is your life lacking spiritual gifts…!

WHAT I AM SAYING IN ESSENCE IS, I DON’T THINK IT IS NORMAL FOR YOU TO BE COMFORTABLE WHEN YOU ARE NOT YET EXPERIENCING ALL THAT THE BIBLE SAID YOU SHOULD EXPERIENCE!! Christianity is more than a religion, it’s full of great realities and Power!!! Amen.
