TIME PERSON VS FAITH PERSON
As good and powerful as Faith is, we need to understand that it can be limited by Time, meaning that your faith could work wonders at a particular time and at another time it might not produce the wonders or results you desire, this doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with your faith, it only mean it’s not yet time for the faith you expressed to produce the result you desired. For instance, Jesus had enough faith to command miracles when he was 12 years old but he never did any miracle until the time he was to be revealed to Israel. Even during the days of Jesus’ ministry, he never went beyond the land of the Jews because he knew that it was not yet time for the Gentiles to have him.
We have had ministries who pioneered what I call “Faith Movements”, they believed so much in the power of absolute faith and trust in God’s Word, and we saw great miracles happening in these ministries. However, we saw many of these ministries failed eventually because they were only conscious of faith but lost contact with Divine Timing. Therefore, it is not enough to be a man of great faith, you also need to be a prophetic Christian who is sensitive to the will of God and move of God per time…Bible said the sons of Issachar had the understanding of the times and they knew what Israel ought to do per time.
I want you to take note of this, you know that when Jesus was with the disciples, he told them that whatsoever they asked or commanded in faith without doubting, they will have exactly what they want, but after Jesus had been taken up from them, the Apostles came to the realization that “it is not everything we ask in faith that we will have but things that we ask according to the will of God”—Meaning that faith can fail if it doesn’t agree with the will of God per time. Also, there was a time the Pharisees challenged Jesus saying that the disciples of John fast very often but your own disciples never fasted, Jesus told them that his disciples do not need to fast now that he is still with them…You see, there are times that we fast for things we already have, and it would have been better we had fasted for some other things. Now, when you already have a Grace, God will not take it away from you, you just need to apply faith to grow the Grace into full expression, you don’t need to fast for the Grace again. For instance, if you already have the Grace of hearing from God, you don’t need to fast for God to speak to you, you just need to apply your faith to hear from God. Also, you must agree with me that there are certain things God will never do for you now no matter how much faith you express or fastings and prayers you do because He must not do such things in your life now, in fact, if He does them, His entire plan for your life and destiny could be jeopardized forever.
I WAS TALKING TO A BROTHER TODAY SAYING THAT I THANK GOD THAT GOD DID NOT DO SOME THINGS FOR ME WHEN I DESPERATELY NEEDED HIM TO DO THEM, THIS IS BECAUSE I KNEW VERY WELL THAT IF HE DID IT THEN, I WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN WHERE I AM TODAY IN CHRIST!!
THE GLORY OF GOD WILL GREATLY FILL THE EARTH WHEN FAITH PEOPLE NOW BECOME TIME PEOPLE…WE NEED TO SEEK THINGS LIKE “LORD, WHAT ARE YOU SAYING AND DOING AT THIS TIME SO THAT I WON’T BE LEFT OUT?”!!! Amen.
