KEEP YOUR BODY UNDER

Among all the 3 compartments (body, soul and spirit) of human life, I saw that the body tends to always want to dominate a man’s life, the Bible called this sinful force FLESH. There are variably more than one thousand wrong decisions people make every day because they fail to keep their bodies under spiritual control. The body appears to be strong because it is the one that is most real to you among every other things you are made up with – When you look at yourself in a mirror, the first thing you see is your body, when people see you, the first thing they see is your body…And when you want to quickly seduce and control people, the best thing you can use is your body.

Apostle Paul said “I keep my body under so that after I had preached to others, I myself would not be a CAST AWAY (1 Corinthians 9:27)”, He said this because he knew that the body has the power to push him out of the will of God or control him against God’s standards. I have seen some believers go into ungodly relationships because some kind of FEELINGS in their bodies is telling them to get emotionally attached to an opposite sex – If Christianity is all about following the feelings of your body, then it would have failed a long time ago.

You must know that your body is naturally carnal and can never be spiritual until we attain the fullness of our Redemption in Christ, your body will always love sins and pleasures even after you had become born again, and your body is ready to completely destroy your life and relationship with God if you don’t seriously discipline it…Your body is usually the one that transmits pollutions and corruption and defilements into your soul and spirit – If you can’t prevail over your body, then you can’t prevail in most battles of life.

YOUR BODY WILL ALWAYS DESIRE SINFUL PLEASURES BUT YOU MUST NOT GIVE THEM TO IT, YOUR BODY WILL ALWAYS PROVOKE ANGER, PRIDE AND BITTERNESS BUT YOU MUST NOT ALLOW IT…ALSO, YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT THE REAL YOU IS NOT YOUR PHYSICAL BODY, DON’T ALLOW THIS CONTAINER DESTROY YOUR DIVINE DESTINY WITH GOD!! Amen.
